Tiny white larvae from old shelf fungi

Tiny white larvae from old shelf fungi
Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
March 18, 2006
Size: about 3 mm
These *very white*, strongly C-shaped larvae are probably not just very young ones of the larger larvae I found in the same fungus types: I hope to rear some of them to see what they become.

Moved
Moved from Beetles.

Larva of Anobiidae
. . . and either Dorcatoma or Byrrhodes (only genera in shelf fungi in your fauna).

cheers, Boris

Moved to Anobiidae.
Thanks, Boris.
