I was thinking this was some type of crab spider, but ran across this while viewing the guide. But since I'm usually not right, thought I'd better ask. Other poses, if needed.

A couple more images from different perspectives would be very welcome in the guide. This is not a spider that gets posted often. Thanks for sharing. Nice find!

Thanks for confirming. Goes to show, even a novice can get lucky sometimes. I'll add a couple of extra shots, though with high winds and it being difficult to see, I'm afraid they aren't the best quality.
