This specimen was captured on exposed limestone in a shaded moist area. Tarsi are 3 segmented, pterostigma absent, wings covered with scales, front femur with a row of spines. The forewings have a slight posterior facing protrusion from the apical edge as shown in "A Review of the psocids, or barklice, of Texas", J. of the Wash. Acad. Sci. 46(11): 353-368, 1956 by E. L. Mockford & A. B. Gurney.
