Harvester (Feniseca tarquinius)

The caterpillars of this species are CARNIVOROUS! (feeding on aphids and scale insects)

Until this point, I had never seen one of these butterflies before! Quite an exciting find! It somehow showed up in my suburban yard- far away from any wooded streams.
