Size: 4+ mm
Stem galls on Helianthus grosseserratus, sawtooth sunflower collected 26-Aug-2010. First flies emerged about 7-Sep-2010. R. Gagne is "pretty certain" as to ID (without seeing the larva on a microscope slide).
