Northwest Territories hopper - Oncopsis albicollis

Northwest Territories hopper - Oncopsis albicollis
Vadzaih Van Tsik Campground, Inuvik, Northwest Territories, Canada
July 9, 2009
Size: 5 mm
This hopper, and a couple of other insects, were my only company on my stop at this remote campground.

Moved tentatively per Dr Hamilton's comment

Oncopsis
There only birch trees on the Mackenzie delta would be water birch, Betula occidentalis, and dwarf birch, B. glandulosa, so this is probably the brown form of O. albicollis. Did you keep the specimen?

Thanks
Andy, thanks for the ID of this hopper. I did not collect it, and in fact got only the lateral view.
