A Geometrid moth
genus Stamnodes. Perhaps S. gibbicostata. Have a look here at the Moth Photographer's Group.

Moths of this genus are very common late in the season at my home in central NM, so this is one genus of Geometrids that I can spot right off (there aren't many of them).

This looks like a good match for gibbicostata. We notice there's no guide page for that species.
