After the fly emerged, this is what was left. A roundish pupal case in the left bottom of this photo was inside the larger pupal case from the previous photo. In this photo the larger pupal case is broken to bits.

no...
I think I had the pupa on some dirt, so I was the one who removed it after the fly emerged and spread the pupal remains out on a piece of paper to photograph.
