Life Cycle
found many adults on brickellbush (Brickellia, Asteraceae) in Madera Canyon in the oak-juniper zone. (Lois O'Brien, pers. comm.)
See Also
has 3 carinae on the mesonotum, although they can have 1. And the vertex in dorsal view is longer than wide and narrowed apically, while the genus Oecleus in the cixiids is narrowed posteriorly. (Lois O'Brien, pers. comm.)
