Aeoloplides chenopodii - Female

This female and three other adults seen here were in saltbush and all four had short wings. E. D. Ball collected specimens of Aeoloplus chenopodii at Saint Johns in 1942 or before.

It's A. chenopodii.
St. Johns is the southernmost reported location for the species. I've always wondered if A. chenopodii could be connected with A. rotundipennis between St. Johns and Socorro (they aren't very different). I keep forgetting to check the Saltbush when I'm driving through there, guess I'm usually just rushing through.
