Flower Crab Spider - Mecaphesa asperata

Flower Crab Spider - Mecaphesa asperata
Hobe Sound, Florida, USA
July 1, 2004
Shot at Jonathan Dickinson State Park.

There's a shot (p. 18) of a similar species in "Florida's Fabulous Spiders" (1)

Moved
Moved from Swift Crab Spider.

M. asperata
I believe this is a female asperata. The pattern and color are nearly identical to the asperata image in Spiders of the North Woods by Larry Weber (2003), p. 148. I'm finding this same pattern on specimen's I've scoped.
