orange caterpillar? - Phoebis sennae

orange caterpillar? - Phoebis sennae
Found it at San Diego State University, San Diego County, California, USA
September 22, 2010
Size: between an inch or two
I've never seen this caterpillar before. What kind of caterpillar is this? This seem odd, but when I took the picture the caterpillar was neon like orange and the bands were green, but the pic shows yellow and blue-black bands. Maybe I'm mad, I dunno.

I've moved it to the species,
but there is a chance it is P. philea (which is pretty rare in California).

Moved from Butterflies (excluding skippers).

Looks like yellow form of Cloudless Sulphur larva
Phoebis sennae. Images here.

thank you
I appreciate it.
