Size: body length 12.0 mm.
This is the male of a mated pair of beetles that we think are Macrosiagon sayi. It is a close match to a specimen we posted in 2009 that was identified as M. sayi, and may be seen here. A notable difference is the presence of single elytral spots on the present specimen that are absent on the 2009 specimen. The female of this pair may be seen here.
Confirmation/correction would be appreciated.
