I found these around temporary ponds in sagebrush/grassland

Must be sandy there?
This is Trimerotropis agrestis barnumi, which is usually found in dune areas. A female.

David, although it was found
David, although it was found in a low lying area perched on drying mud and around standing water the area all around and for miles along the highway was sandy with many dune areas.
