Nectaring on Buddleia. Butterfly garden, 5,010' elev. Oak-grassland interface. SE Huachuca Mts. This spectacular wasp has occurred in the yard at least five times during the last three years (photo'd twice). As has been noted, it may be a pioneer in Arizona.
