Scelida
Vassili directed this to me and I said it did remind me of an AZ Scelida. One name that kept popping into my head was S. flaviceps (haven't collected in AZ for over three years now so I dont remember all these guys).

I double checked the MCZ types guide and found S. flaviceps is now in the genus Scelolyperus (see here). I do not know the key features off-hand to separate the two genera. MCZ also shows a Scelida metallica (type from Mexico) that looks similar. I also remember S. mimula from AZ, but off-hand cannot remember what it looks like.

Scelida
I'm thinking maybe Scelida. If it is it's probably S. mimula Wilcox.

i asked Ed Riley to take a look; hope he tells for sure
