Stratiomyidae, emerged - Ptecticus trivittatus
Ames - Tullamore, Story County, Iowa, USA
August 24, 2010
Size: 12 mm
Larvae collected in a slop bucket 4-Aug-2010. I forgot to get photos but on 10-Aug-2010 2 had crawled out of the continer but were stiff, not moving, not reacting. Photos taken but these were probably pupae by then.
This fly emerged 23-Aug-2010.
