Great depiction in photographs.
I was about to post an example of this species but your photos were so telling I find no real need. Great depiction of the extra hairs on the pronotum!

Dicaelus elongatus
clinched by extra setae anteriorly along pronotal lateral margin. A species widespread in eastern half of USA. John, your set of images could easily be designated as "photo-typic" for the species. Nice!
