Indiopsocus bisignatus - Indiopsocus bisignatus - female

Indiopsocus bisignatus - Indiopsocus bisignatus - Female
San Angeo, Tom Green County, Texas, USA
October 2, 2010
Size: 3.5 mm
This species is similar to I. ceterus and I texanus, but is not either one. Mockford says there are several undescribed species in this category. The egg guide looks most like I. ceterus but the pigmented arms of the sugbgenital plate are different. I have sent several Texas specimens of undescribed Indiopsocus to him. Let's hope he can get around to revising this group soon.

Moved
Moved from Indiopsocus.

I now know this is
Indiopsocus bisignatus, female.
