Rustic Borer - Xylotrechus colonus

Rustic Borer - Xylotrechus colonus
Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA
June 6, 2005
Size: 12mm
Clytus or Neoclytus; that is the question.

suggest X. colonus
Matt, I'd further suggest X. colonus - common and the only northeast Xylotrechus with the broad pale marking pattern and yellow elytra marks only on the "shoulders".

Tim
