White Slant Line Moth - Tetracis cachexiata
Mount Magazine State Park, Logan County, Arkansas, USA
May 5, 2010
Size: 1 inch wide
This elegant moth was in the forested mountains of central Arkansas. This mountain park has many species at the Southern limits of their range.

According to the guide page, this species extends south to Florida, and west to Colorado, so finding it in Arkansas seems reasonable--it just happens to be the southernmost one posted to BugGuide.

Eusarca ?
I think it's a Geometrid of some kind. There are a few pictures in Eusarca that look similar, but I don't know if it's one or not for sure. This was my amateur crack at it. Your just appears to be missing the black spots on the wings.

My equally amateur opinion...

If I'm right, this would indeed be the southernmost record on BugGuide.

This is a perfect match, except for range.
Thanks to all for the ID.

i think you're right Charley
