Each year these are all over the Mimosa Trees at the Museum of Life + Science in Durham, raining down "honeydew" on the pavement and attracting ants, lady beetles, bees and wasps, and birds.

Psyllid nymphs, maybe?
They bear a resemblance to some of those in the Guide:



I'm sure there are other possibilities as well, so let's see what the experts have to say.

 
Psyllid nymphs...
I think you're right, they do look very much like psyllid nymphs, but I agree, wait for an expert to have a look. I guess the question should be, which psyllid attacks mimosa?
