Moth - Cisthene tenuifascia

Moth - Cisthene tenuifascia
Tucson, Pima County, Arizona, USA
October 12, 2010
8074 - Cisthene barnesii?
Also had 8066 and 8070 at my lights last night.

The more I look at these the less certain I am about some of my previous ID's.
At UV lights.

Moved
Moved from Thin-banded Lichen Moth. These are a bit unusual for having a broken PM band but otherwise these are consistent with the Schwarz's subspecies of Thin-banded Lichen Moth.

Prob. not C. barnesii
Barnes' Lichen Moth should have a gray vertex (top of head), and smaller orange PM spot on the inner margin. When the PM band is missing or broken, the PM spots are typically small. That said, I don't know which other species this might be. It does NOT appear to be the "Schwarz's" subspecies of Thin-banded which occurs in AZ.
