Larva or mature? - Thylodrias contractus

Larva or mature? - Thylodrias contractus
Manitoba, Canada
January 15, 2009
Size: ~7mm - 8mm
This appears to be a larva of a beetle but I'm not certain. Is it predatory, a scavenger or does it only eat flour, etc.?

looks like a cool dermestid larva
intriguing

It's Not the Same...
...as in where you helped me before, then. Not bizarre enough! Thanks.

Looks like
a Dermestid larva:

They feed on "dried organic material of high protein content (skin/flesh of dead animals, dandruff, feathers, hair, mantid egg cases, dried foods, wool/silk, etc.)"

A Little Different from your Examples...
...but, after looking at the adults' pics, sounds reasonable! Thanks.
