Size: head to tail 9mm
Doesn't have the same coloration as the common house spiders in my basement. This one lives outside. 2 ft above ground in corner.

Hi Stan,

I suspect that this is a somewhat darker example of the common cobweb spider, Parasteatoda tepidariorum. (Of course a closer look at the epigynum would never hurt.)
