Pseudohylesinus maculosus Blackman - Pseudohylesinus maculosus

Pseudohylesinus maculosus Blackman - Pseudohylesinus maculosus
Cloudcroft, Otero County, New Mexico, USA
July 8, 2000
Size: 3.6 mm
This is not a great specimen, lots of scales are abraded but still pretty thick on the posterior half of elytra. I just wanted to have some missing genera represented until a better picture comes in. This was on White Fir (Abies concolor). It is the only species from NM, most are in the Pacific Northwest and CA. Male and female are very similar.
