Found many of these resting on the undersides of morning glory vine leaves.

I asked Dr. Gibson about this one, and he referred it to Dr. Gregory Zolnerowich, who says it is the encyrtid,
Copidosoma
, and, "based on the color and antenna, likely
Copidosoma floridanum
. It's a common species that is an egg-larval parasite of plusiine Noctuidae. 1,000+ adults can emerge from a caterpillar, so it's possible there was a recent adult emergence from a host.

I must have seen dozens of them. This one was the lone wasp that stuck around long enough to get a few pics.
Wow!! I just saw some of the interesting images on the Copidosoma page. What a terrible way for a caterpillar to go. One image actually shows the cat appearing as a 'sausage' full of larvae!
