Salticid - Paraphidippus basalis
Huachuca Mountains, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
September 23, 2010
This monster was found amongst the fronds of an agave (sotol?) plant. I've seen some pretty huge Phidippus audax in my wanderings but they don't measure up to this. Sorry I don't have a size approximation.
