This tiny fly was an expert at catching thrips just like a flycatcher. It was in the front yard in Old Bisbee at 5700'

for verifying this fantastic little robber fly. I got pretty attached to a couple of them that hung around the yard for a few days. They were so reliable I was able to show them to friends who stopped by.
