Euodynerus Wasp, Maybe? - Ancistrocerus campestris

Euodynerus Wasp, Maybe? - Ancistrocerus campestris
Montrose, Laurens County, Georgia, USA
October 9, 2010
Size: unrecorded
I came upon this looking for beetles lurking in the bushes. I only got off the one shot. I have seen these before(or, at least something that looked like it), but usually just above my head and higher. They don't seem to like being down low.
