Chilled

I notice that many objects have been "chilled". How do I do this without harming the insect?

Just place your insect in a refrigerator (preferably in some type of container!!) and leave it there for about 30 minutes or longer for larger insects. Most insects go temporarily dormant in cold conditions so they will be sluggish and sleepy, allowing you to get them in the position you want for a photo.
