Cecidomyiidae is supposed to have eyes touching or almost touching above the head, according to MND.

 
Dr. Gagné responds:
"They do join, but this is a Trotteria so the eyes join just above the antennae and are not visible in this photo. The backside of the head is greatly pronounced in this genus."
