Moved
Moved from Click Beetles.

Confirmed by examination of specimen.

Heteroderes falli
I compared this pic with a specimen I have from SC and it is a good fit. The bicarinate pronotal angles and faint pale markings on elytra. Heteroderes exsul also has bicarinate pronotal angles, but the latter species also has expanded tarsal pads and bidentate elytral apices.

I'd wait for moving the image until the specimen can be examined under the scope. I look forward to it as always Johnny, thanks again for the support!

nice clicker
Looks like a pale Heteroderes falli, but will have to key out to be sure.

Thanks Blaine,I did not use autolevels in
photoshop which will darken subject somewhat and will save for you.
