Found under bark and best match found is Tachyta.

Tachyta nana inornata
based on my microscopic examination of this voucher specimen now in the P.W.Messer collection. Key characters are pronotum with absent laterobasal carina and elytron with lateral-most stria not uniformly sulcate. This species is known throughout much of North America. Thanks John.

was used by Lindroth (1966) through Lorenz (2005). Bousquet (2010) in his Guide to the Northeastern North American Ground Beetles elevated taxon to species

Tachyta nana inornata vs parvicornis
based on pronotal hind angle without distinct carina and MS location. The two will separate under microscopy.
