Metallic dark blue-green Ground Beetle with orange-brown extremities - Amara

Metallic dark blue-green Ground Beetle with orange-brown extremities - Amara
Los Angeles County, California, USA
October 26, 2010
Size: 12 mm
Found this stunningly pretty beetle running on a grassy trail.

The metallic greenish color doesn't really show in the photo, and not at all in the second photo.

Genus Amara perhaps ?

I can add more material if certain details are not visible on the two photos.

Moved from Amara quenseli.

Thanks for the correction, Connor.
I presume it is not Amara quenseli ?
Any guess as to which taxon/taxa it might belong ?

if Amara, then looks like a Percosia
[must check if this subgen is present in this hemisphere]

Thanks =V= !
BugGuide has an Amara subgenus Percosia species for North America, but there are no official records for subgenus Percosia for California.
Perhaps it is not Amara then ...
