Radcliffe's Dagger Moth caterpiller -
Acronicta radcliffei
Spool Cart Campground, Walowa-Whitman National Forest, Union County, Oregon, USA
September 21, 2010
Size: 1 1/4th inch
This caterpiller was in the mostly evergreen mountain forests of Northeast Oregon.

Nice find!
If this were out east we would say Acronicta radcliffei. We don't know if that makes it out to Oregon or not. It might, but you also might have a different but similar Acronicta out there. We'll see what we can find out.

Has to be radcliffei
Nothing else in the genus that I can find looks even close, and we have record of one from British Columbia:
