Identification

The nearly black pubescence of the upper surface and the well defined, narrow, arcuate, white post-basal fascia render the recognition of this species easy. The form is also slightly shorter and a little more robust than pusillus, and the antennal fossae are nearer the eyes than in any of our other species. (1)
