Ditomyiidae

Hi all,

I critically examined "Fungus gnats" (Diptera: Sciaroidea) images and dig out a "new" family:

So, we would need a new page for the family Ditomyiidae. Please, be so kind and include the Monograph of Munroe (1) on the info page.

Thank you both!
Here are some additions:

Approximately 90 species are known worldwide with the exception of the Afrotropical Region. Of the six Nearctic species two belonging to Ditomyia and four to Symmerus.(1)

Food:
Symmerus larvae were reported from rotting logs of dead wood and those of Ditomyia from Polyporus fungi.

Identification:
.....R4 at least half as long as R5; sc short and ending free.
