Psyllid - Acizzia jamatonica
Durham, Durham County, North Carolina, USA
November 5, 2010
Size: 2 mm
Since posting photos of psyllid nymphs on mimosa I've acquired a few images of adults.

Images of this individual: tag all
Which psyllid? - Acizzia jamatonica Psyllid - Acizzia jamatonica Psyllid - Acizzia jamatonica Psyllid - Acizzia jamatonica

from Dr Halbert: "I am guessing Acizzia jamatonica,
"...a relatively recent introduction into North America from Asia. The common name of the host is mimosa, but the scientific name is Albizia julibrissen."

Moved from Psylloidea.
