Anthomyza or Arganthomyza?
As with another pair of images, it is impossible to distinguish Arganthomyza duplex from the three members of the Anthomyza macra-group without a clearer image of the head (fronto-orbital setae, in particular) or the surstyli (in this male). Both are relatively common, can co-occur, but the macra-group members are more likely to be found under deciduous or mixed canopy and A.duplex more likely on edges.
