Looks OK for Samea
I'm studying moths in the same area (off Oak Knoll) and I haven't observed
Samea
yet, but the similar #5140
Diacme elealis
has been fairly regular at my porchlights. I should hasten to add that I can find little/no information to help distinguish three
Diacme
's that are documented in the Austin area:
D. elealis,
D. adipaloides
, and
D. phyllisalis
.

Thanks for the ID
I've photographed a number of these (Samea) at different parks in southern Wmson during the daytime. Could they be less nocturnal than some of the others?
Thanks for the ID.
