Right genus:-)
Species are hard to determine without being able to see detail along the front of the head and leading edge of the thorax. All that said, a nice portrait of the insect 'in situ.'

. . . finding the limits of ID is what it's all about. Still it raises an interesting question. If the only way we can ID a species is by killing it, how can we ever hope to move beyond cataloging life to actually observing its behavior?
