Chloealtis conspersa

Chloealtis conspersa
Kunkletown, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, USA
September 6, 2010

Based on very wide antennae, and the pattern on the hind legs,
I think this is Chloealtis conspersa. Nymphs of the two species are extremely similar.

Moved from Grasshoppers, Crickets, Katydids.

Dichromorpha viridis?
Looks like a possible match for the Short-winged Green Grasshopper, but that's a complete guess on my part... I'm still in the beginning stages of learning to ID grasshoppers, so please wait for someone who knows what they're doing to confirm.:-)
