Striped cucumber beetle? - Acalymma trivittatum

Striped cucumber beetle? - Acalymma trivittatum
Incredible Edible Park, Irvine, Orange County, California, USA
April 8, 2006
Right I.D.? I shot this where, earlier, I've seen spotted and banded cucumber beetles. Color of this particular specimin is different than anything I've found in BugGuide.

I'm starting to be more specific in posting locations, assuming someone else may want to plow the same ground when in the area.

Acalymma trivittatum (Mannerheim) -- det. S.M. Clark
Moved from Acalymma.

Moved
Moved from Synetocephalus bivittatus.

After being IDed by Rob Westerduijn on the other post.

what difference
to Acalymma vittatum?:
I only can spot different leg coloration, otherwise looks the same. May need verification.

Same problem with this post, where I've commented.

Chrysomelidae: Synetocephalus bivittatus
I used to catch them during the summer in California in my mother's garden in Red Bluff. I think Galerucinae.

Donald, thank you so VERY much
The more I thought about it, the less I thought "cucumber beetle". Frankly, I didn't think a Bug Guide ID was forthcoming. Thanks loads for sharing your expertise. Glad your mother lived in CA!
