Size: approx. 4mm

Came to UV light at night.
Could this be Eucinetidae? See here.

I have shots from various angles but didn't get underside shot because when I turned the beetle over I discovered it can jump extremely well ... and it disappeared with one jump in my friend's livingroom.

The other obvious choice is one of the Melandryidae. I'll look, or maybe someone with easy access to some specimens can verify. I'm hoping you're right though - Eucinetidae would be a new family for the guide! Too bad you couldn't get a ventral shot - that would have been a big help here - large metacoxa. The antenna should be enough.
