Valenzuela subflavus Aaron - Valenzuela subflavus - Male
Bastrop, Bastrop County, Texas, USA
November 19, 2010
Size: 2.6 mm
Caught on Ilex vomitoria. Body color and wing pattern as described for this species in Mockford,(1). I confess I would have had a difficult IDing this one without BugGuide. The pine/oak forest here in Bastrop is more like my home in Alabama. I would not find this psocid in the Texas Hill Country just 40 miles west!
