Corythucha arcuata? - Corythucha arcuata

Corythucha arcuata? - Corythucha arcuata
Atco, Camden County, New Jersey, USA
July 26, 2010
Since I found on Oak Leaf, I suspect Corythucha arcuata. Am I right?

Moved
Moved from Corythucha.

Nice capture!
Little ones and big ones in various stages of development. Do you have a shot showing the hood from the side? Sometimes those come in very handy. We have an excellent expert for these, and I'd guess your right re: species.

Corythucha arcuata is correct
It sure is a nice capture! This is a particularly problematic species, because the pigmentation varies so much and you caught various degrees of pigmentation as well as a teneral adult (just emerged adult). Great job!

Thanks :)
Thank you for your comment, Ron!
Unfortunately, I don't have any shot from the side...
And it's always difficult to get decent images of Lace Bug!!
