Crab Spider With BumbleBee In It's Grasp -
Misumena vatia
Wilsonville, Oregon, USA
July 9, 2004
I believe this is Misumena vatia. The spider was within a Rose of Sharon flower when the bumblebee entered the flower and got pounced on.

Great shot
I always like to see behavioral shots. It's amazing what these gals will take on.
