Schistocerca lineata (venusta type)? - Schistocerca lineata - Female
Foothills North of Boise, Ada County, Idaho, USA
September 11, 2010
Size: ~4cm
The Foothills North of Boise have tons of grasshoppers and some of the bushes easily have 50 adults on them. Pretty impressive compared to what I usually see in Idaho.

This is a female Bird Grasshopper
Schistocerca lineata

Question - I assume you mean Idaho?

Moved from ID Request.

Oops
Yeah Idaho. Forgot to change that one. Thanks.
