Well, look at that. . .
a yellow jacket dismembering a Golden Silk instead of the other way around. . . that is amazing. I wonder if the yellow jacket just happened upon the dead Golden Silk, or if he actually administered the coup de grĂ¢ce?

Targets of Opportunity
Having raised a large family, Goldens' season comes to an end. Time to expire. You will notice our posts are both in November. Being further south, yours is a little later. The yellow jacket is just an opportunist, unaware of the role reversal. There's a balance out there and it will always remain so. We're just the voyeurs trying to make sense of it all.
